Welcome to the New Year and to a new year of great riding adventures. Your activities committee is already in full swing with planning the years’ calendar. Stay tuned for the adventures to come. We all hope you can join in the riding and fun.

A glimpse of the activities…

• Chapter Meeting. We have a Chapter Meeting every month on the third Saturday of the month at Ryan’s Restaurant in Dothan at 6 PM. (Note: Although we try not to reschedule the meeting, it may change on a couple of months throughout the year due to conflicts with planned activities.)
• Unless we have a planned destination-day ride, we will have decide ride on Saturday.
  • Planned Destination-Day Rides are announced in advance and typically occur on Saturday.
  • Decide Rides are all other Saturday rides. We meet at the Harley Davidson dealership in Dothan Saturday morning. Harley Davidson of Dothan provides coffee and donuts. Those who ride, decide the destination. The ride typically departs the HD shop at 1000.
• Weekend trips. We normally try to have one weekend trip per month. The weekend trip destinations will be announced and vary from a simple over-nighter to longer trips to include a Friday and maybe a Thursday dependent on the destination.
• Parties / Social functions are also scheduled throughout the year. Some functions are: picnics (HOG Watering), Fall Party and Christmas Party.
• Wednesday-night Dinner Ride. We have a dinner ride every Wednesday night. We meet at the Harley-Davidson dealership every Wednesday. Those who ride decide the destination. Normally vote for destination at 5:45PM and depart at 6:00PM.

As a reminder… With the New Year, we start a new year of the Wiregrass Chapter membership. If you have not already signed up, please see Carol Butler (Membership Officer) at the Harley Davidson dealership for the new membership form. Also, remember that she needs to witness your signature. The dues for the year are $18 per person.
